Agreement

By using this site, sending a reservation request or placing an order, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy, refund and cancellation policy and delivery policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The product

Bourbon Beef is sold as a limited quantity reservation of a Half Beef or a Whole Beef, with professional processing, packaging and home delivery included. Cut counts and weights published on this site are from our current production plan and are minimums or estimates as labeled. Availability is based on planned cattle production. Delivery timing, final packaging weights, and individual cuts may vary.

Reservation requests

Sending a reservation request through this site does not charge you and does not commit you to a purchase. It asks us to confirm availability and terms with you. A reservation is confirmed only when we say so in writing and any deposit or payment we agree with you has been made. Until then, no reservation is held.

Orders and payment

Purchases made through "Buy now" are processed by Shopify. Prices are in US dollars and include processing, packaging and home delivery within our delivery area unless stated otherwise at checkout. Applicable taxes are shown at checkout. We may decline or cancel an order where we cannot fulfil it, in which case any payment made will be refunded in full.

Delivery and acceptance

Beef is delivered frozen and packaged to the address you give us. You are responsible for providing a correct address, being available to receive the delivery in the agreed window, and placing the beef in a freezer promptly. See the delivery policy for details. Risk passes to you on delivery.

Refunds and cancellations

Because our product is perishable and produced to a plan, cancellations and refunds are handled as set out in the refund and cancellation policy.

Food safety

Our beef is processed and packaged by professional processors under applicable inspection requirements. Keep it frozen until use and follow safe handling and cooking guidance. We are not responsible for beef that is stored or handled improperly after delivery.

Using the site

The content of this site, including text, photography, film and the Bourbon Beef name and marks, belongs to Bourbon Beef or its licensors. You may view and share it for personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not copy, scrape or reuse it commercially without our written permission.

Disclaimers and liability

The site is provided as is. We make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate but do not warrant that it is error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim relating to the site or a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the reservation concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and any dispute will be heard in the courts of Kentucky, without prejudice to any consumer rights you have where you live.
