Our commitment

Bourbon Beef aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across bourbonbeef.com, and to keep meeting them as the site changes.

What the site does

• A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page.
• Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators, including the menus, the forms and the dialogs.
• Text that scales with your browser settings, and an accessibility panel (bottom-left corner) to increase text size, raise contrast, underline links, add reading spacing, and pause motion and video.
• Motion that respects your operating system's reduce-motion setting.
• Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, labelled form fields with clear error messages, and headings in a logical order.
• Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA on every text and background pairing we control.

Known limitations

Our brand film is hosted on YouTube and checkout runs on Shopify; we choose accessible settings where we can, but those pages are controlled by their providers. Some historical photographs are decorative and are marked so screen readers skip them.
